About us.
Genesis.
Originating at the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island the principals have worked with Trinity Wall Street, various Episcopal Dioceses and a variety of other denominations to support congregations throughout the US.
STEWARDSHIP REALTY has extensive experience helping churches build financial sustainability through the creative development of their assets, guided by the following principles:
Mission.
STEWARDSHIP REALTY’s work starts and ends with mission. A missional analysis, conducted by a priest specialized in data-grounded discernment, forms the foundation for each project. The outcome often leads to an expansion of the ministry with a new income producing ministry like affordable, supportive or senior housing that generates a perpetual income stream for the church.
Vision.
STEWARDSHIP REALTY helps church leaders and its congregations create and execute a viable vision for the future. This vision is formed at the intersection of a spiritual, ministry, and real estate analysis, which helps secure the church's health and viability for generations to come.
Partnership.
STEWARDSHIP REALTY guides churches through the complex process of real estate development. We provide guidance and data to allow church leaders to make informed decisions regarding their real estate and partner to either sell, ground lease or joint venture with the church.
Capital.
STEWARDSHIP REALTY helps create durable income streams for the long-term while also providing short-term capital if needed and where possible. Providing congregations, the financial and spatial means to do God’s work is central to our projects.
